Nur to Std. 4 : Eco - friendly Ganesh idol-making workshop

  • Participation is not compulsory, but we do require registration so that we can make arrangements in terms of space and material. So, registration is compulsory. Only registered students will be allowed to participate.

  • Kindly fill up the registration form (as given in the circular) LATEST by Wednesday, 28 August 2024 (11.59 pm) to register for the workshop. This deadline will not be extended.

  • There are no charges for this workshop.

  • Do note that informing the teachers in school or sending an email to feedback@walnutedu.in does not count as registration.

What the school will provide : 

  • Shadoo maati (clay) per registered student

Things to be carried from home (on the day of the workshop) :

  • Plastic / Steel bowl

  • Old cloth (for wiping hands)

  • Paint brush (any size)

  • Cardboard sheet to carry the idol home (Size : 18 x 22 cm)

  • Toothpicks / Matchsticks (for designing)

  • Pencil

  • Old newspapers

  • Water bottle

What should the students wear?

  • Students can wear a civil dress (preferably one they don’t mind getting dirty in!).

  • However, they MUST wear an ID card. Students will not be allowed to enter the school premises if an ID card is not worn. 

Can parents participate in the workshop as well?

Nursery to Std. 2 :

  • It is compulsory for ONE responsible adult (ideally, a parent) to accompany the student.

  • Students will NOT be allowed to participate in the workshop if they come without such an adult.

Std. 3 and 4 :

  • Parents can accompany the student if they wish.

  • In case no parent is going to accompany the student for the workshop, it is important that the child is picked up and dropped off on time.
